Itinerary

DAY1 : MANALI TO CHIKA VIA JOBRA

  • Pick up from Manali at 9 AM and drive 22 km to Jobra by taxi.
  • Then an easy 3 km trek to Chika campsite from Jobra (03 km) (1/2 Hours) (3078 Meter)
  • A quick introduction with team members and fellow trekkers at the campsite.
  • Dinner and rest at Chika campsite

DAY2: CHIKA TO BALU KA GHERA (08 km) (4/5 Hours)

  • After breakfast departure to Balu Ka Ghera from Chika (3783 Meters)
  • Pass through beautiful valleys offering stunning landscapes, with a river crossing at Jwara.
  • Arrive at the campsite and enjoy a hot lunch.
  • Take an evening acclimatization walk to the nearby areas.
  • Have dinner and rest at the campsite.

DAY3: BALU KA GHERA TO SHEA GORU VIA HAMPTA PASS (8 km)(6/7 Hrs)

  • After breakfast, take a steep climb to Hampta Pass.
  • Enjoy a packed lunch on the way.
  • Arrive at the Shea Goru campsite for dinner and an overnight stay at the camps.

DAY4: SHEA GORU TO CHATRU | DRIVE TO CHANDRTAL & RETURN BACK

  • Departure from Shea Goru campsite to Chatru after breakfast.
  • 7 km easy descend trek to Chatru and drive to Chandratal.
  • Reach Chandratal and enjoy the mesmerizing view of the lake.
  • Explore the lake & drive back to Chatru.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

DAY5: CHATRU TO MANALI

  • Drive from Chatru camp to Manali via Atal Tunnel (4114 Meters) to Manali (140 km) Reach evening 6 pm
